For members who write a limited number of cheques each month and would like to earn interest on the money in their account, the Daily Interest Chequing Account was designed for you. This account features competitive interest rates on the daily closing balance of over $500.00 and is paid monthly.

Basic Chequing

If you are looking for a simple chequing account to handle a few cheques each month, paying for each transaction, the Basic Chequing Account offers the features you are looking for.

Package Account Chequing

For one flat fee per month, the Package Account offers:

• unlimited, no charge
  • chequing privileges
  • cash withdrawals
  • Macleod Savings & Credit Union Ltd. ATM transactions
  • MasterCard® Payment Card transactions
• free utility bill payments
• reduction in traveller's cheques purchase rates
• reduction in rental of safety deposit boxes
• no charge for Canadian money orders (maximum 5 per month) or drafts
• no charge certified cheques
• free standard personalized cheques (to a maximum of 400 cheques per year).

Package Plus Account

For one flat fee per month, the Package Plus Account offers everything the Package Account offers PLUS:

• unlimited TeleService® transactions
• unlimited cuanytime Internet banking transactions
• no service charges on Interac Direct Payment purchases
• Free ATM transactions at all Alberta Credit Unions

Savings Accounts

Plan 24 Savings Account

If you make more than one deposit or withdrawal each month, but still wish to maximize the interest earned on your money, this account is for you. This savings account earns interest based on the daily closing balance and is paid to your account monthly. You have easy access to your funds through any ATM, in-branch banking or Interac Direct Payment.

The Plan 24 Savings Account gives you 2 free debit transactions per month.

Blue Chip Savings Account

The Blue Chip Savings Account is for the member who wants to earn a higher rate of interest than the Plan 24 Savings Account. Interest is calculated on the minimum monthly balance and is paid to the account semi-annually. Access to your funds is the same as with the Plan 24 Savings Account.
