The Boards of Directors of Chinook Credit Union Ltd and Macleod Savings & Credit Union Ltd. are pleased to announce that the amalgamation between our two credit unions has been approved. The formal proposal was presented to our membership at our annual general meetings in March 2010.

• MERGER DATE FINALIZED: The boards of both Chinook Credit Union Ltd. and Macleod Savings and Credit Union Ltd. have approved the recommended date of August 31, 2010 as the official merger date of the two credit unions. The new Chinook will open its doors on September 1, 2010
